                    \n\nTo connect\n\nLogged user should have a l
ink "zoom link" on the left menu bar to connect. All registered user have
received an email this Monday Morning with a link to the event (please che
ck your spam).\n\nOverview\n\nWhenever one has to deal with multiple jobs
on a HPC system\, the idea of automating parts or all of the job managemen
t process involves describing and implementing so-called 'workflows'. Opti
ons for managing workflows are numerous and range from using basic schedul
er features such as job arrays and job dependencies\, up to using a comple
 x system managed by a central\, multi-user\, database. Moreover\, workflow
s tools are also available from the software development and deployment ec
osystem and the whole "devops" movement. This online workshop aims at guid
ing participants towards the right tool for their use and help them reduce
the time they spend managing their jobs by automating what can be automat
ed and follow best practices.\n\nAfter attending the workshop\, you will\n
\n\n	know about generally available GNU/Linux tools to manage multiple tas
ks and jobs\n	learn about some easy-to-install scientific workflow tools f
or single-user usage\n	learn how to automate packaging and deploying softw
are with containers or git-based web sites\n	see how some research groups
used around workflow management system tools\n\n\nPrerequisites\n\n\n	Gene
ral knowledge of Linux and the command line\n	Knowing how to install softw
are as a regular user\n	Knowing about Slurm and job submission and managem
