  of machine learning and the intuitions/ideas behind the algorithms\n\n- W
 ork with a high-level machine learning API (Keras)\n\n- Explore hyperparam
 eter space to improve a neural network\n\n- Understand the pitfalls of cla
 ssic machine learning algorithms\n\n- Upscale large machine learning model
 s with parallel training on a supercomputer\n\nWho?\n\n- Everyone interest
 ed in getting familiar with machine learning at scale\, from the beginning
  up to more advanced topics\n\nRequirements:\n\n- Basic knowledge on stati
 stics\n\n- Basic knowledge on general programming. Some experience with Py
 thon and the use of Jupyter Notebooks is desirable.\n\n- Basic knowledge o
 n parallel computing. No specific experience with supercomputing systems i
 s necessary.\n\nYou should have:\n\n- Your own laptop with an up-to-date b
 rowser and a terminal emulator. The use of the operating systems Linux and
  macOS is preferred\, but not mandatory. For Windows users we recommend to
