DESCRIPTION:\nThis course will be delivered as an ONLINE EVENT for remote p
 articipation\n\nDescription\n\nThis course gives a practical introduction 
 to deep learning\, convolutional and recurrent neural networks\, GPU compu
 ting\, and tools to train and apply deep neural networks for natural langu
 age processing\, images\, and other applications.\n\nThe course consists o
 f lectures and hands-on exercises. TensorFlow 2\, Keras\, and PyTorch  wi
 ll be used in the exercise sessions. CSC's Notebooks environment will be u
 sed on the first day of the course\, and the GPU-accelerated Puhti superco
 mputer on the second day.\n\nLearning outcome\n\nAfter the course the part
 icipants should have the skills and knowledge needed to begin applying dee
 p learning for different tasks and utilizing the GPU resources available a
 t CSC for training and deploying their own neural networks.\n\nPrerequisit
 es\n\nThe participants are assumed to have working knowledge of Python and
  suitable background in data analysis\, machine learning\, or a related fi
 eld. Previous experience in deep learning is not required\, but the fundam
 entals of machine learning are not covered on this course.  Basic knowled
