DESCRIPTION:Description:\n\nThe increasing amount of scientific data collec
 ted through sensors or computational simulations can take advantage of new
  techniques for being processed in order to extract new insights out of ra
 w data. The purpose of this one-week school is to present researchers and 
 scientists with methods\, tools and techniques for exploring and mining\, 
 large data sets using Cineca high performance resources. The school is an 
 introductory set of lectures aimed at training beginner participants in th
 e application of relevant statistical\, machine and deep learning algorith
 ms to create classification and predictive models using Cineca resources t
 o execute efficient processing jobs. The school will consist of introducto
 ry lectures held by data scientists\, and hands-on sessions. Furthermore s
 ome practical insights on a few use cases addressed in the field of reasea
 rch projects in Cineca will be introduced.\n\nSkills:\n\nAt the end of the
  course\, the student will possess and know how to use the following skill
 s:\n- Use of Cineca HPC resources\n- Python basic programming for ML\n- Ma
 chine Learning algorithms and libraries\n- Deep Learning frameworks\n\nTar
 get audience:\n\nYoung students\, PhD\, and researchers in computational s
 ciences and scientific areas with different backgrounds\, looking for new 
 technologies and methods to process and analyse large amount of data.\n\nP
 re-requisites:\n\nParticipants must have basic knowledge in statistics\, f
 undamentals of computer programming with Python and use of GNU/Linux-based
  systems.\n\nThe number of participants is limited to 25 students. Applic
 ants will be selected according to their experience\, qualification and sc
 ientific interest BASED ON WHAT WRITTEN IN THE "Reason for participation"
