 developer meeting brings bioinformaticians working in computational mass s
 pectrometry together to shape the future development of OpenMS. It is targ
 eted to core developers\, new developers\, and potential future contributo
 rs. Short talks\, developer tutorials\, and code sprints will be intertwin
 ed. Participants will have the opportunity to design custom tools and work
 flows together with instructors. External users are welcome to bring their
  own ideas and will receive detailed feedback as well as help getting star
 ted in OpenMS development. Progress will be tracked on our GitHub page wit
 h a resume of each day.\n\nPrerequisites:\n•    Target audience: This de
 veloper retreat is targeted to core\, new and potential future developers 
 of the OpenMS library and its tools.\n•    Software requirements: For th
 e retreat we require a working installation of any supported compiler\, cm
 ake\, git\, doxygen and OpenMS’ contrib libraries. Basic knowledge in C+
 + is highly beneficial.\n\nThe participants should bring their own laptop 
 computers.\n\nLearning goals:\n•    Developing algorithms and tools with
  the OpenMS library\n•    Working with OpenMS\, its build system and its
  datastructures\n•    Documenting code with Doxygen.\n•    Deeper insi
 ghts into new and established algorithms of the library\n•    Learning t
 he GitHub workflow of OpenMS\n•    Designing and implementing tools or k
