About the session:

Do you know an RSS fellow who is actively looking to become a trustee?

In celebration of Volunteers Week, the Royal Statistical Society is holding a half-day information session for those who want to find out more about becoming a trustee. The event will cover the role of charity trustees, common misconceptions and how to find and apply for a position on a charity board.

It is open to fellows at any stage in their career, whether early career or retired. The session will be delivered by Getting on Board, a national trustee recruitment charity, with talks from RSS fellows who will share their experiences and Reach Volunteering on how to secure the right role for you.

The event will take place at the Royal Statistical Society at our headquarters (12 Errol Street, London, EC1Y 8LX), followed by a networking reception.
