DESCRIPTION:Ready For BioData Management? – Introduction to Data Manageme
 nt Plans (Online) is an introductory one-day course aiming at disseminatin
 g Data Management best practices and teaching the basics of making and usi
 ng Data Management Plans (DMPs) in the context of research activities. It 
 is organized by BioData.pt and sponsored by the Portuguese node of the Res
 earch Data Alliance.\n\nThe workshop features two introductory lectures on
  Research Data Management and DMPs\, followed by a hands-on DMP exercise w
 here participants will form groups to fill in a DMP for a mock research pr
 oject. The produced DMPs will then be reviewed and discussed.\n\nThe works
 hop will be delivered online\, in real time\, via Zoom\, using Google Spre
 adsheets for the hands-on group exercise.\n\nRegistration is free. This is
  an event dedicated to IPB researchers and students\, but everyone is welc
 ome.
