About the event:

The RSS Nigeria Local Group is hosting a workshop for stakeholders on census activities.

Confirmed speakers for this workshop include Professor G.N Amahia (Department of Statistics, University of Ibadan) and Mrs Adeyinka Nucy Omolara (State Director, National Population Commission, Oyo State).

The workshop will include discussions by Professor G. N. Amahia on training of census staff, census questionnaire, enumeration procedure, census data processing and dissemination of census information.  

Mrs Adeyinka Nucy Omolara will talk about the past census in Nigeria, challenges and solutions in line with the recent technology.

This workshop is organised in collaboration with the Department of Statistics, Federal University of Agriculture, Nigeria Statistical Association and Professional Statisticians Society of Nigeria.
