DESCRIPTION:\n	The commissioning of the new Blue Gene/Q petaflop supercompu
 ter JUQUEEN marked another quantum leap in supercomputer performance at JS
 C. At the same time\, it was recognised that special efforts by the users 
 are necessary in order to get the most out of this unique research tool.\n
 \n	The aim of this hands-on workshop is to support current users of JUQUEE
 N in porting their software\, in analysing its performance\, and in improv
 ing its efficiency.\n\n	It is highly recommended that project PIs send at 
 least one expert on their code to this workshop.\nPrerequisites \n	Partici
 pants should belong to a currently active simulation project on JUQUEEN (p
 roject-ID!) and should already have an active user account (user-id!). Tes
 t runs during the workshop will be done on the participants' own project a
 ccounts.\n\n	In order to gain maximum benefit from this workshop\, partici
 pants should have an in-depth (hands-on) knowledge of the algorithms and c
 odes used in their project.\n	In addition\, we also ask participants to pr
 epare a test case to evaluate the initial performance of their code and to
