DESCRIPTION:In the world of scientific research\, women clearly form a mino
 rity at the level of group leaders and professors. Increasing the number o
 f women in science can only be reached through a diversity of approaches.\
 n\nOne essential contribution to this is conscious efforts from both men a
 nd women\, which requires awareness on all sides.\n\nAnother essential fac
 tor is supporting women's self-leadership\, i.e. the process by which they
  will become more comfortable with who they are and what they want\, thus 
 leading to better communication and fulfillment.\n\nIn this workshop\, we 
 will explore the topic of self-leadership by addressing self-awareness\, s
 elf-confidence and self-efficacy. At the same time\, the workshop provides
  a space where women can exchange ideas and strategies on how to cope with
  situations they may be facing due to being part of a minority group.
