Sensitive Data Connect (SD Connect) and Sensitive Data Deskt op (SD Desktop) are now available in Open Beta. Sensitive Data Desktop is a service providing a secure access over public internet to a virtual priv ate cloud\, and allowing secure analysis of sensitive data remotely from u sers’ own computer via a web browser.Sensitive Data Connect is a simple web and command line interface that enables sharing and uploading your enc rypted sensitive data for analysis in SD Desktop.Most of use cases in SD s ervices are free-of-charge for academic research\, education and training in Finnish higher education institutions and in state research institutes. You can purchase most of the services when the conditions of free-of-char ge use are not met.We will also introduce two upcoming services Sensitive Data Submit (SD Submit) and Federated EGA\, which will enable publishing s ensitive data in a secure manner later this year.In this workshop we will also have a hands on session where you can try using the new services\, he nce\, please register well in advance (demo session is now full\, you can join as a listener in a demo session without accounts.) This hands on sess ion will show you how to best support users of your organization to get fa miliar with these services.
