DESCRIPTION:Experiments are still the main tool for research in plant biolo
 gy and agriculture. This course explains the ground rules for valid and ef
 ficient experimental design in general\, but will focus on the peculiariti
 es of experiments with plants in growth chambers\, greenhouse and fields. 
 The design\, data analysis and the result interpretation will be dealt wit
 h by studying realistic examples. The course is very hands-on and relies o
 n R as design and analysis tool.\n\nWe welcome experimental design questio
 ns from the audience.
