 kickstart your computing skills: the Unix shell\, version control with Git

 nd pipelines\nwrite structured programs\nuse Git to manage and share infor
 mation\nhow (and how much) to test programs\nThis four-day workshop will b
 e delivered in-person at Earlham Institute. \n\nWho is this training for?\
 n\nResearchers in the life science and computational science disciplines. 
 We particularly encourage PhD students and postdoctoral scientists to atte
 nd\, but the course is open to everyone\, at any stage of their career. \n
 \nThe course is aimed at complete beginners\; trainees are expected to hav
 e very little or no prior knowledge of programming before attending. Howev
 er\, we will cover a lot of material and the training is quite fast paced\
 , so be prepared to fully immerse yourself in the world of programming!
