DESCRIPTION:Researchers often have access to or generate multiple omics dat
 a (RNAseq\, metabolomics\, lipidomics\, proteomics…) within a single stu
 dy. Although each omics data is usually analyzed individually\, combining 
 complementary data can yield a better understanding of the mechanisms invo
 lved in biological processes. Several integrative approaches are now avail
 able to combine such data\, coming essentially from two families of method
 s\, namely multivariate statistical analyses and network-based approaches.
  During this summer school both methodologies will be covered\, introducin
 g RGCCA and mixOmics for multivariate analyses and WGCNA and SNF for netwo
 rk-based strategies. To get meaningful biological information\, the interp
 retation of statistical results needs to be done contextualizing them in t
 he available biological knowledge. To address this major step we need to b
 e able to access and interrogate databases. We will harness this subject i
 ntroducing semantic web and knowledge graphs in the context of metabolic n
 etworks.\n\nDuring the School\, significant time will be devoted to hands-
 on and the program will be divided into three phases / topics:\n- Multivar
 iate statistical analyses (Instructors: Arnaud Gloaguen &amp\; Jimmy Vande
 l)\n- Network-based approaches (Instructors: Morgane Térézol &amp\; Mari
 e-Galadriel Brière)\n- Results contextualisation: an introduction to meta
 bolic models\, web semantic and knowledge graphs (Instructors: Jean-Cléme
 nt Gallardo\, Maxime Delmas &amp\; Marco Pagni)\n\nThe participants will w
 ork in groups and shortly present the application of what they have learne
 d to their own project.
