 ; ELIXIR-DE\n\nDNA methylation plays an important role in gene regulation.
  Understanding and exploring these epigenetic modifications is crucial for
  uncovering underlying mechanisms and gaining new insights into many disea
 ses and disorders.\n\nThis webinar introduces approaches for analysing met
 hylation data from common platforms such as Illumina arrays and Oxford Nan
 opore sequencing (ONT). We will cover practical first steps\, including da
 ta processing\, quality control\, data visualization\, as well as methods 
 and tools for Epigenome-Wide Studies (EWAS) and episignature analyses usin
 g R.\n\nThrough real-world case studies\, we will aim to illustrate and de
 epen the understanding of methylation analysis in practice.\n\nThis webina
 r is aimed at students\, early career researchers\, clinicians\, bioinform
 aticians and everyone interested in methylation analysis.\n\nThe webinar w
 ill be held by Nazanin Mirza-Schreiber from the Institute of Neurogenomics
