DESCRIPTION:**This course will be streamed to registered participants only.
 **\n# Overview\n[ASAP](https://asap.epfl.ch/) (Automated Single-cell Analy
sis Portal) is a web-based\, collaborative portal aimed at democratizing s
ingle-cell omics data analyses and rendering it more accessible to researc
hers. ASAP does not require any installation and enables standardized anal
yses that can be run in minutes by any user without requiring significant
computing power. The entire single-cell analysis pipeline is available in
ASAP\, allowing users to choose from a panel of tools\, and guiding them t
hrough tutorials.\n\nThis 1 day course introduces participants to using AS
 AP for single-cell analysis\, through lectures and hands-on exercises.\n\n
 # Audience\nThis course is addressed to students\, postdocs\, and research
 ers\, from any scientific environment (academia\, facilities\, companies\,
etc.) interested in analyzing single-cell data.\n\n# Learning outcomes\nA
t the end of the course\, the participants are expected to:\n* run a singl
e-cell RNA-seq analysis pipeline using ASAP\n* choose the best tools and p
arameters for each analysis step\n* carry out cell-type annotation and dow
 nstream analyses\n\n\n# Prerequisites\n##### Knowledge / competencies\nBas
ic knowledge of single-cell analysis equivalent to the SIB course [Single-
 Cell Transcriptomics with R](https://www.sib.swiss/training/course/2024102
 9_ISCTR) is required.\n##### Technical\nThis course will be streamed\, you
are thus required to have your own computer with an Internet connection.\
n\n**To optimally benefit from the course\, participants are highly encour
