DESCRIPTION:The [Ensembl Project](http://www.ensembl.org) provides a compre
 hensive and integrated source of annotation of\, mainly vertebrate\, genom
 e sequences. This one-day workshop offers a comprehensive practical introd
 uction to the use of the Ensembl genome browser as well as essential backg
 round information.\n\nThis course will focus on the vertebrate genomes in 
 Ensembl\, however much of what will be covered is also applicable to the n
 on-vertebrates (plants\, bacteria\, fungi\, metazoa and protists) in Ensem
 bl Genomes. \n\nThere may be some tools and topics that do not apply to no
