DESCRIPTION:We would like to invite you to the 33rd VI-HPS Tuning Workshop 
 which\nwill be held at Juelich Supercomputing Centre in Germany as part of
  the\nPRACE training centre curriculum.  This is the latest in a series o
 f\nhands-on practical workshops given by tools developers for parallel\nap
 plication developers.  The Virtual Institute - High Productivity\nSuperco
 mputing (VI-HPS) is an initiative promoting the development\,\nintegration
  and use of HPC tools: see http://www.vi-hps.org\n\nParticipants are encou
 raged to bring their own parallel application\ncodes to the workshop to an
 alyze and tune their performance with the\nhelp of experts.  Analysis wil
 l focus on MPI and OpenMP\, with optional\nadditional use of OpenACC\, Ope
 nCL or CUDA.\n\nThis workshop organized by VI-HPS and JSC as a PRACE train
 ing event will:\n\n\n	give an overview of the VI-HPS programming tools sui
 te\n	explain the functionality of individual tools\, and how to use them e
 ffectively\n	offer hands-on experience and expert assistance using the too
 ls\n\n\nThe detailed program will be available on the VI-HPS training web 
 site.\n\nPresentations and hands-on sessions are planned on the following 
 topics\n\n\n	Setting up\, welcome and introduction\n	Score-P instrumentati
 on and measurement\n	Scalasca automated trace analysis\n	TAU performance s
 ystem\n	Vampir interactive trace analysis\n	Extra-P automated performance 
 modeling\n	Paraver/Extrae/Dimemas trace analysis and performance predictio
 n\n	MAQAO performance analysis &amp\; optimisation\n	MUST runtime error de
 tection for MPI\n	ARCHER runtime error detection for OpenMP\n	JUBE script-
 based workflow execution environment\n	... and potentially others to be ad
 ded\n\n\nA brief overview of the capabilities of these and associated tool
 s is provided in the VI-HPS Tools Guide.\n\nPrerequisites: Experience with
  MPI or OpenMP\n\nApplication \nRegistrations are only considered until 10
  June 2019 due to available space\, the maximal number of participants is 
 limited. Applicants will be notified\, whether they are accepted for parti
