DESCRIPTION:Environmental\, agricultural and biomedical research is depende
 nt on the availability of high quality data that is made available through
  biodata resources and databases hosted locally\, nationally and internati
 onally. The reality is that funding for development\, maintenance and sust
 ainability of biodata resources is often short-term and piecemeal leaving
 the resources that life scientists depend on in a precarious position. The
 [ Global Biodata Coalition](https://globalbiodata.org/) was formed in resp
 onse to this challenge to provide a forum for research funders and others
 around the globe to better coordinate and share approaches for the efficie
 nt management and growth of biodata resources worldwide\n\nIn this extende
 d webinar we discuss the theme of development and sustainability of biodat
 a resources with a panel of guests. We’ll hear about the goals and activ
 ities of the[ Global Biodata Coalition](https://globalbiodata.org/) and th
 e challenges faced by well established and highly curated Australian and i
 nternational data resources ([Stemformatics](https://www.stemformatics.org
 /)\,[ Community for Antimicrobial Drug Discovery (CO-ADD) Database](https:
 //db.co-add.org/screening-data/) and[ InnateDB](https://www.innatedb.com/)
 ) in sustaining these resources.\n\nThe presentations and panel discussion
  will be followed by questions from the audience.\n\n**Speakers**\n\n**_Dr
