DESCRIPTION:Dr Mallory Freeberg takes us on a whirlwind tour of the human g
enomics data resources available at EMBL's European Bioinformatics Institu
te (EMBL-EBI). Used by scientists across the world\, these resources enabl
e the discovery and exploration of genes\, variants and their impact on hu
man health and disease.\n\nResources that will be covered in this webinar
 include:\n\n**[Ensembl](https://www.ensembl.org/index.html):** a genome br
owser that supports research in comparative genomics\, evolution\, sequenc
e variation and transcriptional regulation \n**[DECIPHER](https://www.deci
phergenomics.org/):** an interactive web-based database and suite of tools
that aid the clinical interpretation of genomic variants_**\n**[Federated
  EGA](https://ega-archive.org/about/projects-and-funders/federated-ega/):*
 * a global resource for discovery and access of sensitive human omics and
associated data consented for secondary use\n**Perturbation Catalogue:** a
new project from[ Open Targets](https://www.opentargets.org/) that is bui
lding a catalogue of harmonised and curated human gene\, variant\, and exp
ression data\n\nEMBL-EBI’s comprehensive range of freely available and u
p-to-date molecular data resources are used by scientists globally. The te
ams running these resources collaborate closely with international experts
and are key partners in human genomic data sharing communities including
the[ Global Alliance for Genomics and Health](https://www.ga4gh.org/). \n\
n**Speaker: Dr Mallory Freeberg\, Human Genomics Team Leader\, EMBL Europe
 an Bioinformatics Institute**\n\n**Date/Time: 20 September 2024\, 3 - 4 pm

*\n\nThis webinar is for life scientists\, bioinformaticians\, clinicians
and clinical geneticists who are working on human genomics data.\n\n**How
