DESCRIPTION:The workshop addresses challenges and opportunities of key comp
 utational methods for Engineering exploiting an efficient use of the high-
 end HPC infrastructures.\n\nThe workshop covers the following topics: comp
 utational fluid-dynamics\, multi-physics\, finite-element solver\, multi-o
 bjective optimization problems\, tools for seamless access to HPC resource
 s and remote visualization. \n\nIt is excepted a number of presentation b
 etween twenty and thirty of approximately 45 minutes each\, showing the re
 sults\, experience and forward looking trend by leading research groups\, 
 software developers\, HPC experts and industrial use cases.  \n\nParticul
 ar relevance will be given to the existing opportunities related to the EU
  HPC ecosystem such as that offered in PRACE infrastructure or H2020 (Shap
 e  and Fortissimo).\n \n\nTarget Audience: \nAcademic and industrial res
 earchers and practitioners working in the  Computational Engineering area
  which are using or planning to use high-end HPC infrastructure.\n \n\nPr
 erequisites:\nBasic knowledge of computational methods/tools for engineeri
 ng. \n\nGrant:\nThe lunch for the three days will be offered to all the p
 articipants and some grants are available. The only requirement to be elig
 ible is to be not funded by your institution to attend the course and to w
 ork or live in an institute outside the Milano area. The grant  will be 
 300 euros for students working and living outside Italy and 150 euros for 
 students working and living in Italy (outside Milano). Some documentation 
 will be required and the grant will be paid only after a certified presenc
 e of minimum 80% of the lectures.\n\nFurther information about how to requ
