Using generative AI in Assessment
Generative AI can help lecturers examine assessment tasks, clarify criteria and reflect on marking. Its value depends on whether it strengthens the evidence and judgement behind an assessment or simply makes the process faster.
This resource was developed under the project titled Empowering Education: Exploring AI for Teaching and Learning at ZHAW. The project was created in response to the 2025 Transformative Education Fund, or TEF, project call.
Its purpose is to make knowledge about artificial intelligence more accessible to teachers and to support its thoughtful use in teaching.
