Mapping the landscape of Biocuration in ELIXIR
The Implementation study aimed at:
Reviewing and mapping the type of curation work being done, for which databases across ELIXIR, and in which life science/health domains;
Identifying the tools curators are currently using for curation tasks;
Assessing the capacity requirements for new curators and training provision available;
The goal was to produce an initial map of (1) biocurators, (2) manually curated knowledgebases and data repositories, (3) curation tools and resources.
The webinar was presented by Peter McQuilton (Oxford University, ELIXIR UK), and Alex Holinski (European Bioinformatics Institute, ELIXIR EMBL-EBI)
