Discover the resources that ELIXIR, the European bioinformatics infrastructure, has at your disposal to help you through all phases of biological data gathering, analysis, and publication. In this session, you’ll learn about about the European and national bioinformatics infrastructures, what is their role in shaping the European life sciences landscape and how can researchers be a part of it. Trainees will also be guided through using ELIXIR flagship tools and resources such as the Federated European Genome-Phenome Archive, the Beacon Network, the Galaxy platform, and the ELIXIR TeSS portal. In this interactive workshop, the trainees will be given a mock project and will use ELIXIR bioinformatics resources to solve concrete biological tasks.
