The series begins with an overview of the UniProt website, showing how students and researchers at all career stages can access data from the UniProtKB and Proteomes sections of the UniProt protein function database.

Running until May 2027, the series will cover a range of topics, including:

  • Programmatic access to UniProt
  • Functional annotation of proteins
  • Using BLAST, Align and other protein sequence analysis tools
  • Proteomics data in UniProt
  • Variants and disease
