Date: 21 October 2026 @ 09:00 - 17:00

This webinar will focus on methods of in situ cryo electron tomography (cryoET) and how they can be applied to specifically look at host-pathogen interactions inside the host cell with a focus on apicomplexan parasites and gram-negative bacteria. From sample preparation to data acquisition and data analysis, this webinar will cover approaches of sample freezing, cryo focussed ion beam (cryoFIB) milling, cryoET, cryo correlative light and electron microscopy (cryoCLEM), tomogram reconstruction, segmentation and subtomogram averaging.

This event is part of the webinar series “Integrating structural biology and bioinformatics to study infection”. You can follow the link for more information about the series and its webinars.
